Tweed's Tavern is one of Hockessin's oldest and most popular historical sites! This rustic colonial building was built in the 1790's and became a traveler’s stop that provided food, beverages, and a place to sleep.
TWEED'S TAVERN MUESAM
Located directly behind Tweed's Tavern, the museum currently houses artifacts from the Hockessin Station stop on the B&O Rail line now owned by the Wilmington & Western Railroad. The bottom floor of the museum will soon be converted into a library!
